Welcome To The Brew Haus

Hello Readers,

Welcome to The Brew Haus. My hope is that through blogging about beer I may introduce readers to new beers both domestic and imported to better appreciate the world of great beer. Ales, Pilsners, Stouts & Porters, Double Bock to Sour Beers all of which are special in their own right and all of whom have something to offer.

You may ask yourself what makes me qualified for this, well, nothing. I'm hoping to create somewhat of an open forum when it comes to beer. I consider myself a true beer lover, a nut some might say and in my day to day position I am lucky enough to be around all sorts of beers and part of my job is to promote and advertise. This is a part of my job that I've never really though of as work, so I'm taking what I've learned and what I still hope to experience and put it into writing.

Complete with tasting notes, photos, prices and availability I hope to immerse every reader in the joy that is craft beer. So sit back and enjoy, as we dive into the fridge and see what we find.

I hope that all of you who find this blog will be encouraged to comment on posts, and maybe go out and get some of the beers I'll be drinking. As of now I'm heading off to a Dogfish Head Brewing Co. tasting at a local Ithaca store, look for another post tonight on some special Dogfish Head Brews and a new Ithaca Beer.
